Ben holds a Diploma in Policing and Justice Studies, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Master of Education from Thompson Rivers University, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Counselling from Athabasca University.
Ben is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC #27592) and a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers (RSW #16367).
Ben has experience providing counselling services to both youth and adults experiencing substance use and addiction concerns, anxiety, anger, depression, panic, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, and relationship challenges. He has facilitated both individual and group therapy programs, supporting clients through meaningful and sustainable change.
Ben believes counselling involves movement — whether physical, emotional, or psychological. Even small shifts can create greater space, flexibility, and capacity to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Outside of the therapy room, Ben can usually be found staying active through fitness, reading, walking his dogs, or spending time with friends and family.
